TERMS AND CONDITIONS

BY PAYING YOUR DEPOSIT TO SECURE YOUR BOOKING YOU ACCEPT OUR TERMS & CONDITIONS, AS STATED BELOW

1.  An accommodation deposit is required to ensure a booking. All outstanding fees are payable before the cottage/ cottages are occupied. Only CASH, EFT( immediate), or bank Card ( +5% more on outstanding ). A  R500 (CASH) deposit fee is required per cottage and will be paid back 3 days after check out. ( For any large breakages, damages to the property, or if the cottage is left dirty/messy, NO smoking inside the cottage.) Premises must be vacated not later than 09h30 on the day of departure and can only be occupied by 14h00 on the day of arrival except by special arrangement. When vacating the cottages are required to be left in a decent clean state. Please note that daily cleaning services are optional for an extra fee of R250.
2. Day visitors are allowed at extra cost, only with arrangements with the office beforehand. Visitors are only allowed to be on the property until 20h00. Adults = R110 / Children under 12 years = R80.
3. Extra vehicles are only allowed to be on the property for an extra cost of R85 per vehicle from 07h00 till 20h00 (visitors).
4. Any extra vehicles for bookings that have been paid for beforehand are allowed after 20h00 (booked guests) space and parking are limited.
5. Vehicles allowed per Cottage

   4 Sleeper = 1 vehicle allowed

   6 Sleeper = 2 vehicles allowed

   8 Sleeper = 3 vehicles allowed

   10 Sleeper = 3 vehicles allowed

   Groups 13+ = 5 vehicles allowed

6. Kids above 3 years old are counted as guests.

7. We are pet-friendly R40 per pet per day for trained pets that need to be on a leash when not inside the cottage, no pets are allowed in the swimming pool area and or in any pool, and no pets are allowed to swim. Please ensure to clean after your pets when they make a mess.

8. While every attempt is made to make your stay enjoyable, unforeseen issues do arise which is not in the control of the owner, or management,(Ugu, Municipality and Load shedding).

9. No music from motor vehicles or private sound systems/equipment is permitted on the property. Please ensure that your music is only audible to yourself inside your cottage. Respect other guest's privacy and preferences by understanding that we don’t all share the same taste in music. We do not allow parties, loud music, or overloading in the cottages. (We need to respect the rights of owners, other guests, and neighbors). Please consider the other guests by keeping the noise levels as low as possible.

10. Silence must be maintained between 22:00 and 07:00.

11. If security or management, at their discretion, determine that you are causing a noise disturbance whether inside or outside your unit or anywhere on the property, they will request for you to cease (quit, stop) the disturbance. should you refuse to cooperate, or fail to stop the noise law enforcement will be called in and you will be removed from the property with no refund.

12. No drunken behavior will be tolerated.

    You need to bring your own towels, dish soap, dishcloths, and toilet paper ext as we are self-catering units
13. You can bring your own iron/ there will be available for rent at the office for R50 per day( non-refundable.)

14. All guests accept and enter the Holiday accommodation at their own risk.

15. Guests (including family/friends) will have no claim whatsoever against the Agent / Owner or manager of the Holiday accommodation in respect of any losses, damage, illness, personal injury, or inconvenience which you may suffer in relation to visiting Peace Cottages, or in the course of making use of any of its facilities (play area/swimming pools/braai area/parking area and theft.)

16. Should there be any large damage to the cottage, you will be held liable.

17. Swimming hours are only allowed from 07h00-19h00. NO SWIMMING BEFORE AND AFTER GIVEN HOURS. PLEASE NO FOOD OR GLASSWARE AT THE SWIMMING POOL, NO PRIVATE SOUND SYSTEM/ EQUIPMENT OR SPEAKERS ARE ALLOWED IN THE POOL AREA,  NO JUMPING OR DIVING IN THE SWIMMING POOLS, AND KEEP CLEAR AND OFF OF THE INFINITY POOL LEDGE. CHILDREN NEED TO BE ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT AT ALL TIMES INSIDE THE POOL AREA. AFTER 19H00 NO ONE IS ALLOWED IN THE SWIMMING POOL AREA.

18. GUESTS HAVE TO VACATE THE COTTAGES BY 9:30 KEYS AND REMOTES NEED TO BE GIVEN IN AT RECEPTION OR PICKED UP BY MANAGEMENT, IF NOT EXTRA FEES WILL BE CHARGED PER HALF AN HOUR FOR LATE CHECKOUTS.

19. Non-compliance with these terms and conditions may result in immediate eviction without a refund.
